TOO X ALSO – Quando usar?

Muitos alunos do nível básico me perguntam: 

- Se "too" é "também" em inglês e "also" é "também", então qual a diferença?

A regrinha é simples:

Too significa “também”  e vem sempre no final da frase!

Ex:

- I love you, too.

- My brother studies here, too.

- I’ll be at the party, too.

Also significa “também”, mas no contexto de ADICIONAR mais INFORMAÇÕES na frase. Also é sempre colocado no meio das frases, geralmente antes do verbo.

Ex:

- I also love your sister!.. :)

- My brother also works here, in the evening.

- I’ll also bring the beer!

Atttention:  - "Too" também significa “muito”, “demais”, no sentido de exagero, de algo q “ultrapassou dos limites”!

Ex:

- Today it’s too hot in São Paulo! I can’t stand this heat.    

(Está quente demais hoje! Não aguento este calor.)

- Rio de Janeiro is too dangerous.

(Rio está perigoso demais).
